Role & Responsibilities- * Cost management by negotiation of costs & contracts for continuous growing business need * Managing supplier base (Global & PAN India) thru improvement programs, supplier consolidation & exploring new reliable suppliers at reasonable prices & desired quality Major Accountabilities:- * Development of commodity strategy/ components for new product launches within time-line and cost targets for all Electrical Parts at pan India level * Establishing long term agreements with strategic supplier base * Responsible for Cost management of below commodities across all plants in India * Parts covered FIP, Harness, Lighting Systems, Switches, Telematics, Starter & Alternator, Actuators imported technological parts etc * Quality improvement thru resolution of current product quality & reliability issues * Optimization of Supplier Base thru Improvement programs, Supplier Consolidation, VAVE.Job Skills
Candidate-
* BE / B. Tech -Electrical / Electronics ( Preferred ) with 5-10 Years of experience as Buyer for Electrical Commodities used in Construction Equipment's / Trucks/ Tractors.
* Capacity commitment & enhancement with Electrical commodity supplier base
* Coordination with internal/external stakeholders for cost reduction project
* Timely Development of parts for new projects as per project timelines
* Settlement of raw material fluctuations in industry inline with budget
* Analysis/settlement of conversion cost increase/price correction requests
* Implementation of running changes on current product (CPM issues)
* Synergy with global cluster leader AG/CE for strategy , running projects, Budget & BCC sourcing.
Other KPI -
* Supplier consolidation with low APV to increase operational efficiency
* Managing supplier agreements: NDA, COC, Warranty agreement, General term & condition,
Driving simplicity project to reduce complexity and supporting SCM for supplying chain
